THE NINE TEN CUSTOMS STAFF

Josh Warncke - Founder/Owner

Josh Warncke

Founder/Owner

Founder of Nine Ten Custom Josh thoroughly enjoys seeing new projects come to life, as well as old projects being made new. Even when not in the shop or on a job Josh can often be found restoring or building something for fun. His love for fine woodworking was handed down through his father (Rolf). Throughout his school years Josh excelled in shop class, and physical education. His high school shop career was capped with a beautiful roll top desk which still serves in his home office today.  Although his formal collegiate training took him in the way of physical education he soon returned to the woodworking trade, starting his own business in 2014.  Josh hopes to one day create an inspirational designer style piece of furniture that will be worthy of spotlight in a trade magazine or art gallery. When not at work Josh can be found participating in outdoor sports such as fishing, Mountain biking, or hunting.

Rolf Warncke

Owner/Sr. Advisor and woodworking specialist.

As a High School woodworking teacher for 35 years Rolf spent most of His career designing, problem solving, and working with students to create beautiful family heirlooms. Never one to shy away from a challenge, He has had the opportunity to guide students in building things like  dining room tables, grandfather clocks, full kitchens, and wooden canoes.  His love for woodworking goes back to his college years when he was studying industrial arts.

Now in “retirement” He serves Nine Ten Customs in a similar capacity, designing, planning, and building custom woodworking creations to meet the needs of our clients.  (When He is not napping or on vacation that is).  Around the shop some of the most common words out of his mouth are the bold and confident phrase “We can do that!”  Outside of work Rolf enjoys fishing, camping, time with his grandkids, and most of all time with his wife Arline.
